Further Research Into Synaesthesia

Synaesthesia a neurological phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway.

  • Anaesthesia - insensitivity to pain, especially as artificially induced by the administration of gases or the injection of drugs before surgical operations. (could be interesting to juxtapose?)
  • SYN – TOGETHER
  • AESTHESIA - SENSATION
  • Relevant words/phrases: “I may see things differently” “PAIRINGS REMAIN FIXED. FOR LIFE.” “BLENDING OF THE SENSES” “Wired”
  • "mirror touch" synaesthesia: experiencing touch just by looking at someone being touched.
